Kabe's buddy Ben stayed overnight so this morning they spent some time building forts, playing DS and watching a movie. They live in different towns and go to different schools, but attend the same church so it's always fun for them to get to spend time together. A good time was had by all.

Our usually happy kid was not so happy today. He had to clean his room and when it wasn't done properly he received some unwanted help from dad. When he reappeared this is how he looked and he said to me, "Why is dad torturing me?"
There you have it. Through the eyes of an 8-year-old. What were we thinking?

Kabe's school is participating in Jump Rope for Heart, so Kabe and his buddy went to check with a couple neighbors about sponsoring them in the challenge. It was around 60 degrees out and a great day to be outside running around.

We are 'loving' these at our house these days. :)

Having an 8-year-old boy around, means having oodles of Lego's around the house, but it also means lots of creativity and imagination.
